Clinical Study

ISS has started its first in-human study in Europe with Titan WIHM placed in the left ventricle or left atrium of CHF patients in the second quarter of 2013. The Titan WIHM system offers home monitoring, on demand remote monitoring, and wireless internet access to a medical-grade database.

Titan WIHM is also being developed to be implanted into the central portion of the cavopulmonary pathway in children with Functional Single Ventricle Congenital Heart Defects at the time of their Fontan operation.  It will be starting its pre-clinical safety studies in the third quarter of 2014.
